Paramount has been delayed Transformers: Rise of the Beasts until June 2023, and a new one Star Trek movie for December 2023.
In the coming years, Paramount plans to relaunch two of their esteemed franchises in Transformers and Star Trek. Transformers: Rise of the Beasts will shoot the famous Beast Wars storyline with director Steven Caple Jr. and its star Anthony Ramos. Rise of the Beasts recently wrapped up filming while a new one Star Trek movie is trying to get off the ground with WandaVision showrunner Matt Shakman will direct.
Transformers: Rise of the Beasts was originally dated June 24, 2022, but Paramount announced Wednesday that they’ve postponed the film for a year to June 9, 2023. Meanwhile, Matt Shackman’s Star Trek film was initially on track for that June 9, 2023 release date, but has now been shifted to December 22, 2023, where the now-delayed Rogue Squadron Star Wars Patty Jenkins movie was dated.

On the run in the year 1987, Bumblebee finds shelter in a junkyard in a small California beach town. Charlie (Hailee Steinfeld), about to turn 18 and trying to find her place in the world, discovers Bumblebee, scarred and broken bones. When Charlie brings him back to life, she soon finds out that this is no ordinary yellow VW bug.
Directed by Travis Knight from a script written by Christina Hodson, Bumblebee stars Hailee Steinfeld, Pamela Adlon, John Cena, Stephen Schneider, Jorge Lendeborg Jr., Jason Ian Drucker, Kenneth Choi, Ricardo Hoyos, Abby Quinn, Rachel Crow and Grace Dzienny.
