Storyline:
Little magicians Daniel Atlas, Merritt McKinney, Henley Reeves and Jack Wilder are invited to a meeting in a strange apartment. A year later, they reappear as The Four Horsemen in a Las Vegas show sponsored by the millionaire Arthur Tressler and they rob a bank in Paris from the stage and distribute the money to the public.
FBI Agent Dylan Rhodes is assigned to the case and Interpol sends Agent Alma Dray as his partner. Dylan and Alma are engrossed in the investigation, and illusionist debunker Thaddeus Bradley hints at illusion.
When the Four Horsemen steal Arthur Tressler’s bank account at a show in New Orleans, Dylan and Alma believe these robberies are just a distraction from a huge plan, but they’re never sure what’s true and what’s illusion.
